大马妇女发展机构 - “爱心礼物”健康讲座 

大马妇女发展机构八打灵分会主催“爱心礼物”健康讲座已于2010年10月17日（星期日）下午2点至5点成功落幕。出席者都带着满满的生命的礼物回家，也将会把所收到的礼物分发给身边的家人和朋友。这场讲座会达到了教育大众要爱惜自己，掌控健康，克服病魔，让自己和家人生活的更美满，充满信心和活力。

 讲座会特别强调了健康管理包含以下三大类：
1.      一般检查: 如身高、体重、血压、呼吸次数、心跳等身体外观与整体的检查。

      2.      器官功能: 如血液检查、尿液检查、心电图、听力、视力、肺功能等各项在器官功能检定方面的检查。

      3.       器官结构: 如胸腹X光、超音波等在器官结构上的检查。

由此三大方向，来鉴定受检者的健康状况是否有潜在的疾病，以期早期发现、早期治疗，减少疾病加重的机率。



讲师郑丽萍也和大家分享了以下几个普片上人们所忽略的要点：

1. 健康检查的重要性.  2 .检查，查什么？ 3. 为何要做定期, 完整的健康检查? 4. 何谓完整的健康检查? 5. 验血为什么不足够? 个案分享. 6. 早期发现与晚期发现的不同点 7. “活得久, 活得好, 老得慢” 达至健康社会, 人人有责! 8.  如何面对，接受及克服疾病，以及健康检查和适当饮食的重要性

为自己和家人而做到“早发现、早诊断、早治疗”，以保健康，减少家庭悲剧的发生。

 Women Development Organization PJ Brach has successfully organized an health management talk – “Gift of Love” on 17 October 2010 (Sunday).  It is very beneficial to all the attendees that they will continue to share the gift with their beloved friend and family member.  The seminar has raised the public awareness to take care of them, manage their own health and fight for the disease in order to bring the happiness and confidence to their life.

The seminar emphasized the three categories of a complete health management:

1. General measurement: eg. Body height, weight, blood pressure, the body outlook and overall screening
2. Organ functionality: eg. Blood test, urine test, ECG, Audiometric, Vision, lung function etc the organ function test
3. Organ structure: eg: Chest Ray, Ultrasound and other organ structure screening.

The complete screening from these three categories can identify whether there is any early health threatening symptom that could probably being detected earlier and reduce the risk of getting into very serious condition.

The presenter – Amy Tnay also sharing below common issue that most of the people are not aware of:

Everybody is responsible for the “To Live Longer, To Live Well and To Stay Young” in order to achieve a healthy society. Helping ourselves and family member towards “Earlier Detection, Earlier Diagnostic and under go Earlier treatment”, in order to maintain healthy and reduce the tragedy to happened among the family.
